Reilly O’Brien has been upgraded to Adelaide’s senior playing list as the Club’s nominated rookie.

Under AFL rules, eligible clubs are able to nominate a rookie to become eligible for AFL selection after the halfway mark of the home and away season.

O’Brien, 20, was promoted to the Crows senior list earlier this season as a replacement for Harry Dear, who was on the long-term injury list at the time. The young ruckman returned to the rookie list when Dear returned from a shoulder injury in the latter rounds of the SANFL season.

The impressive big man, who recently signed a new two-year deal with the Club, is now eligible for selection for the remainder of Adelaide’s AFL season.
