Daniel Talia provided the biggest news of the Christmas break, proposing to partner Megan.

The pair got engaged on Christmas Eve coinciding with their five-year anniversary.

A mentor of the young defender, Brent Reilly, also took to social media in December to announce that he and wife Jamie are going to be parents for the first time. The pair went on to spend New Year’s Eve with Adelaide development coach Ryan O’Keefe and his family.

A host of Crows headed home for Christmas.

Taylor Walker and partner Ellie spent Christmas in Broken Hill with Tex’s family.

Brad (and Matt) Crouch went back to Ballarat and trained at his old school ground, St Patrick’s College.

Rory Atkins returned to Melbourne to see his family … and Crows teammates Reilly O’Brien and Luke Lowden

The pair was joined by James and Claire Podsiadly, and also Channel 7 personality Hamish McLachlan. Sloaney enjoyed a surf and hit of golf, and even found time for a bit of wedding planning!

Jake Lever returned to Bali with his girlfriend, Jess. Paul Seedsman and partner Alice ventured to another popular vacation spot, Hamilton Island, for a family holiday with Seed’s good mate and former Crow Dylan Orval and his family.
