Richmond duo Nick Vlastuin and Jacob Townsend are free to play in Saturday’s clash with Adelaide at Etihad Stadium after both players were cleared of reports by the Match Review Panel.

Vlastuin escaped penalty for a high hit on Collingwood's Taylor Adams in Friday night’s loss to the Magpies. The contact was deemed to be of insufficient force to constitute a report.

Townsend was also reported for rough conduct but avoided any sanction, with the MRP ruling he was contesting the ball when high contact was made to opponent Jackson Ramsay. It was the MRP's view that Townsend had no other realistic alternative.

Both men will be available for Saturday’s Round Three clash with the Crows at Etihad Stadium.
