The SANFL Crows will look to retain their place on top of the SANFL ladder when the team heads to Woodville this Sunday to take on the Eagles.

Fresh from a 30-point win over the Magpies, Adelaide is the hottest team in the IGA League at the moment, having won eight of its past nine SANFL games with an average winning margin of 61 points.

That one loss came in a four-point nailbiter against the Eagles at Woodville last year in a result that denied the Crows a maiden SANFL finals berth in front of a huge crowd of 4,679.

Woodville-West Torrens were last year’s minor premiers and are 1-1 so far this season after two games on the road, first defeating Sturt at Unley on Easter Monday before falling to South at Noarlunga last Sunday.

A bumper crowd is expected with plenty of off-field action planned as part of the Eagles Carnival Day.

JOIN THE CROWS GUARD OF HONOUR: Junior Crows fans are welcome to take part in the annual carnival parade at 1.40pm from the Southern Goals. After parading around the oval, they will line up as Guard of Honour as the Crows team run out onto Woodville Oval.

LIGHTNING CARNIVAL: A curtain-raiser to the main event, with U8 & U9 teams from the new SANFL Juniors competition. This involves 39 junior teams playing a total of 63 games over 5 ovals, starting at 10.35am.

FREE COMMUNITY TREASURE HUNT: Kids can collect their Treasure Map at the ground and from 12.00pm and visit a range of community displays and complete several activities while collecting treasure along the way.

SANFL ACTIVATION ZONE: Have fun with the inflatable handball and goal kicking targets behind the southern goals from 12pm.

OTHER FAMILY FRIENDLY ACTIVITIES: There will also be a Free Jumping Castle and Face Painting from 12pm.

Adelaide and Woodville-West Torrens will do battle from 2.10pm on Sunday, April 10.

Entry is free for Crows ticketed members and all those Under 18.
