Josh Jenkins was the only Crow to earn votes from the coaches at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night.

Jenkins was unstoppable up forward, kicking a career-high eight goals in Adelaide's 15-point loss to the Western Bulldogs.

The powerful 27-year-old also took seven marks, including a game-high five inside attacking 50m. He is now equal-third in the Coleman Medal race with 23 goals.

Dogs midfielder Marcus Bontempelli was awarded a perfect 10 from Don Pyke and Luke Beveridge. Bontempelli amassed 30 possessions and two goals, including one to ice the game.

Four-goal forward Jake Stringer, who also had four goal assists, collected five votes.

Dogs ball winners Luke Dalhaus and Tom Liberatore each received three votes. Dalhaus was the leading possession-getter on the ground, finishing with 31 and seven inside 50ms. 

Liberatore won a game-high nine clearances from his 25 possessions. He also laid seven tackles and kicked a goal.

Mitch Wallis, who had 26 touches, seven clearances and seven inside 50ms, got the remaining vote.

Bontempelli was one of only four players to score maximum votes in Round Seven. Geelong captain Joel Selwood, Greater Western Sydney midfielder and Port Adelaide utility Jackson Trengove also polled 10s in their respective games.

Selwood’s score has seen him rocket into equal-first place of the AFL Coaches Association Champion Player of the Year award. The tough midfielder joins teammate Patrick Dangerfield on 39 votes. 

Rory Sloane is Adelaide’s leading vote-getter with 28.
