North Melbourne has upgraded rookie Robin Nahas to its senior list ahead of Thursday night's clash with the Crows at Adelaide Oval.

Nahas’ elevation was made possible after Roos utility Sam Wright was placed on the long-term injury list last week. Wright is expected to spend seven weeks on the sidelines with an ankle issue.

It's the second time this year that Nahas has been promoted to the club’s senior list. The speedy small forward has played six games this season, with his last AFL appearance against Geelong in Round 12. He then returned to the rookie list last week after Jed Anderson’s return to competitive action.

Enemy: Roos sweat on injured stars

The 28-year-old suffered minor finger injury in North Melbourne’s loss to Geelong but is expected to be available for selection for the club’s clash with Adelaide on Thursday night.
