Talented midfielder Brad Crouch scored his second AFL Fantasy ton in a row in Saturday night’s win over Collingwood

Crouch was Adelaide's leading Fantasy performer against the Pies, scoring 113 points from 29 possessions and a game-high 10 tackles. Crouch also scored a 113 the previous round against Carlton.

The tough onballer has long been touted as one of the most promising Fantasy prospects in the competition after he burst onto the AFL scene three years ago and finished runner-up in the 2013 Rising Star award. He’s had a luckless run with injury since, but the 22-year-old looked back to his ball-winning best at Adelaide Oval against the Magpies.

Crouch is getting stronger and more confident with every game and could be a tempting option at just $436,000 with Fantasy finals on the horizon.

Fellow midfielder Jarryd Lyons also continues to improve with every outing and was among four other Crows who joined Crouch with triple-figure totals.

After coming close all season, the dual-position FWD/MID scored his maiden Fantasy century in style with a healthy 109 against the Pies.

Lyons booted two goals from 21 disposals and also laid seven tackles and took five marks in arguably his best performance as a Crow. Fantasy coaches are starting to notice the hard-working 23-year-old too, with his overall ownership creeping up steadily in recent weeks.

By the numbers: Round 17 v Collingwood

Reliable ruckman Sam Jacobs was the next Crow in line with a handy 108-point performance from 17 possessions, 27 hit-outs and a goal.

It was Jacobs’ second Fantasy century in a row and his sixth of the season. The 28-year-old is ranked third in the League for points scored by a ruckman and is hot on the heels of North Melbourne’s Todd Goldstein, who is just seven points ahead of ‘Sauce’.

Star onballer Rory Sloane continued his fine Fantasy season with yet another triple-figure total.

Sloane overcame a tag from Collingwood’s Levi Greenwood to score 106 points from 27 possessions, eight tackles and three marks. Incredibly, it was Sloane’s sixth Fantasy century in a row and his eighth ton from his last nine starts.

It’s no surprise Sloane is ranked No.7 in the competition for total Fantasy points this season.

Milestone man Scott Thompson was the fifth and final Crow to hit the hundred.

The 300-gamer scored 104 points from 22 touches, nine tackles and three marks for his first Fantasy century since Round 12.
