Pokemon GO is taking the world by storm.

The location-based, reality game has users young and old exploring Adelaide to try and catch elusive digital creatures.

To celebrate the game’s success, the Crows want to join forces with Pokemon trainers from across Adelaide and help people ‘catch’em all’.

At this weekend’s game against Essendon, the Crows want to turn Adelaide Oval into a #PokemonCrow venue with lures active from when gates open to the final siren.

Adelaide Oval has proven to be a bit of a Pokemon hotspot with a great variety of creatures as well as plenty of PokeStops to restock items.

Sunday’s game is also Adelaide’s second Sunday Funday for the year, where junior supporters can get free General Admission tickets.

It’s the perfect opportunity to combine football with fantasy and catch the Crows v Bombers match at the same time as catching Pokemon.

So why not grab the family and make a day of it.

If you make a catch you’re proud of, make sure you share it on social media using the hashtag #PokemonCrow.

We did a bit of hunting and collecting at Adelaide Oval ahead of this week’s game and were impressed with what we found.

-   There’s PokeStops all around Adelaide Oval with Telstra Plaza in the south, the old scoreboard in the north, the Victor Richardson Gates in the east and the Darren Lehmann statue in the west to have everyone covered.

-   There are plenty of Pokemon! In just 30 minutes of hunting we were able to catch more than 10 different species and 30 Pokemon all up.

-   Dratinis are everywhere! We all know Dragonite is one of the strongest Pokemon going around, but you can’t get Dragonite without catching a whole bunch of Dratinis first. Adelaide Oval is your place to do this.

-   There’s a gym at the Barrie Robran statue in the Telstra Plaza, but be aware, it’s very difficult to hold on to.
