Adelaide’s welcomed back Scott Thompson and Mitch McGovern for Sunday’s clash with Fremantle.

Thompson and McGovern return after being managed against the Brisbane Lions last weekend.

McGovern, who will play in front of a home crowd in WA, kicked a career-high four goals in his most recent match against Essendon, while Thompson had 29 touches and six tackles in the Round 19 win.

The pair replaces wingman Paul Seedsman (corked buttock) and unlucky midfielder Cam Ellis-Yolmen, who played his first AFL game of the season against Brisbane.

Ellis-Yolmen, defender Jake Kelly and second-year onballer Harrison Wigg are the emergencies.

Ruckman Sam Jacobs wasn’t considered for selection as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury.

Adelaide will be out to claim two wins on Western Australian soil in a single season for the first time in Club history this weekend, having toppled West Coast at Subiaco in Round 12.
