Adelaide has added five players for its first ever SANFL final on Saturday at Adelaide Oval.

Cam Ellis-Yolmen, Paul Seedsman, Nathan van Berlo, Tom Doedee and Luke Lowden have all been included for the historic clash with Central District.

Midfielder Ellis-Yolmen received permission from the SANFL to play in Saturday’s final in accordance with the League’s eligibility rules. One of the Magarey Medal contenders, Ellis-Yolmen has played 16 SANFL games this season but his last match was at AFL level against West Coast.

Seedsman is set to play his first game in four weeks after being sidelined with a corked buttock. The 24-year-old’s last SANFL appearance was against Woodville-West Torrens in Round 17.

Nathan van Berlo also bolsters the side after he was a late withdrawal from last week’s loss to South Adelaide due to a foot complaint.

Young defender Tom Doedee was another a late out from last week’s clash with the Panthers. Doedee has overcome a rib sprain and has been named at full-back for this week’s Elimination Final.

Ruckman/forward Luke Lowden is the fifth addition to the squad. The former Hawk has been cleared of an ankle injury sustained against Norwood three weeks ago and has been added to an extended interchange.

Rory Sloane and Brodie Smith, who were eligible for selection despite not playing at State League level all season, were not considered for this week’s SANFL game. Players eligible for SANFL finals

Development players Josh Wittwer, Trent Heffernan and Dylan Ribbons, who played his first SANFL game of the season last week, have been omitted.

The Crows will need to overcome a poor recent record against the Bulldogs. Central District has won the past five contests between the two teams. Full match preview

The winner of Saturday’s Elimination Final will advance through to the second week of the SANFL finals to confront the loser of the Qualifying Final between South Adelaide and Sturt.

Essential Crows Members and Adelaide Oval Football Members all gain free entry to weeks 1-3 of the SANFL finals series. Adult tickets can be purchased for $15, concession $10 and kids under 18 are free.

The match begins at 12.10pm and will be shown live on Channel 7 Adelaide. Radio stations FIVEaa, LifeFM and ABC radio will also cover the clash.

Adelaide's AFL team has a bye this weekend ahead of next week's Elimination Final against North Melbourne.
