The Adelaide Crows would like to thank David Noble for his contribution in a variety of roles over the past 12 years.

Noble has served as Head of Football for the past three seasons and departs to take on the same role at the Brisbane Lions.

The Crows are now looking to enhance what is already a strong and well-structured football department by conducting a thorough search for administrative talent.

Crows Chief Executive Andrew Fagan praised Noble for his dedication and work ethic.

“David has made a valuable contribution and played his part in steering the Club through some of its most trying times,” Fagan said.

“He is a quality person and we wish him and his family the very best as they take on a fresh challenge.”

Fagan said the Club would view this as an opportunity to strengthen an already a well-functioning football program.

“We have made significant progress in this area and over the last few years focused on developing structures and systems which are not reliant on any particular individual," he said.

“As a result, when individuals move on we instead see this an opportunity to further develop and improve our operations as we push towards achieving our goal of having the leading football program in the AFL.”

Noble initially joined the Crows as an assistant coach under Neil Craig and later moved into football administration where he has served as List Manager and most recently Head of Football.
