Meet Mr. and Mrs. Sloane!

Rory Sloane married fiancé Belinda Riverso in one of the couple’s favourite spots, Byron Bay, on Saturday.

The couple was wed at the picturesque Byron View Farm in front of about 120 guests.

A large contingent of Adelaide players and their partners, including Taylor Walker and Ellie Brown, Daniel Talia and fiancé Megan Bennett, Eddie Betts and wife Anna, Sam Jacobs and fiancé Izzy Daniel, Josh Jenkins and partner Hannah Delmenico, Andy Otten and fiancé Emmalyn Gregory, Sam Shaw and partner Sarah Mackay, Richard Douglas and partner Alessandra Lee, Ricky Henderson and fiancé Jenny Davis, and Scott Thompson were in attendance.

Sloane’s long-time midfield coach Scott Camporeale and his wife Ali, and assistant coach James Podsiadly and his wife Claire made the trip to the coastal New South Wales town for the event.

Former Crows Brent Reilly, Patrick Dangerfield, Jared Petrenko, Nathan Bock and Shaun McKernan were also among the guests. McKernan, who was drafted by Adelaide in the same year as Sloane, was a groomsman.

Rory and Belinda spent several days together in Byron Bay in the lead-up to the wedding, as well as numerous trips to the area to plan the event after Rory proposed in December, 2014.

The newlyweds, who have been together for about five years, will honeymoon in the United States including an extended stay in New York. The pair will also get its required fix of sun and surf on the beaches of Mexico.

It’s the start of wedding season at West Lakes, with Ricky Henderson to marry fiancé Jenny Davis in the coming weeks and Sam Jacobs and Izzy Daniel tying the knot on New Year’s Eve.
