Livewire Crow Charlie Cameron is among the first nominees for the 2017 AFL Mark of the Year.

The 22-year-old claimed a strong contested mark over former Crow Phil Davis and fellow Giants defender Nick Haynes in the early minutes of the second quarter.

It capped off a terrific performance for the former rookie. Cameron collected 23 possessions (14 contested), eight clearances, six inside 50ms and four marks. He also kicked two goals.

The effort earned Cameron one of the opening nominations for this year’s Mark of the Year title alongside GWS forward Toby Greene and Richmond’s Daniel Rioli.
