Mark Ricciuto and Josh Carr have opened up on the now infamous Ramsgate Hotel brawl between Crows and Power players in 2002 on Sunday’s episode of The Crows Show.

The fight happened the day after a tense Showdown clash with players from both sides getting involved.

Ricciuto and Carr, who were at the centre of the incident, spoke exclusively to The Crows Show about what really happened.

“Roo wanted to talk to me outside so I thought ‘what’s this about?’,” Carr said.

The ‘talk’ didn’t go so smoothly with Ricciuto and Carr getting involved in a physical altercation.

“He (Josh Carr) went to knee me in the private bits, which is unusual for a Port Adelaide player to do something dirty I must admit, especially Carry,” Ricciuto joked.

“I think Carry might have gone flying across the front of the bonnet (of a parked car) when I threw him.”

Up to 10 players from both teams became involved in the brawl in the car park before the players went their separate ways.

“Then we thought right, we better get out of here, we could hear the cop cars coming,” Ricciuto said.
