AFL Fantasy favourites Curtly Hampton and Andy Otten are set to soar in popularity again after receiving a dual-position boost.
Hampton is currently the eight-most selected player in the competition and has already rewarded coaches with a handsome $139,000 price rise since the start of the season.
The former Giant has been a solid scorer to date but took his Fantasy game to another level against Gold Coast, notching 119 points – a career-best total for the fleet-footed utility.
He’s now selectable as a MID/DEF and has room for more growth with a current break even of nine.
Andy Otten has also proven to be a popular Fantasy pick this year and features in over 40 per cent of all teams.
The defender can now be picked as a forward with his new DPP capability. Otten’s been a valuable asset for coaches who have held him since the start of the season, soaring by over $150,000 in value and averaging a handy 70 points per game.
The Crows duo is among 24 players across the competition who had a position added in the first DPP update.
Analysts at Champion Data work with the team at AFL Fantasy HQ to adjust positions of players to reflect their real roles in 2017.
The next DPP updates are due in Rounds 12 and 18. Changes affect all forms of AFL Fantasy – Classic, Draft and Matchday.
