Promising half-forward Riley Knight is likely to be available for selection this weekend.

Knight missed Adelaide’s win over Richmond after experiencing hamstring soreness against Gold Coast the week prior.

Crows General Manager of High Performance Matt Hass said the 22-year-old was on track to return.

“Riley continues to improve really well with his hamstring tightness,” Hass said.

“He’ll train with the team on Wednesday and we expect him to play this weekend.”

Vice-captain Rory Sloane suffered a corked quad against the Tigers on Sunday.

Sloane finished the match on the interchange bench as a precaution, but isn’t considered in any doubt to play against North Melbourne in Tasmania on Saturday.

Forward Harry Dear was concussed in the first half of Adelaide’s SANFL clash with Port Magpies on the weekend.

Hass said Dear would adhere to the concussion protocol.

“Harry’s presented pretty well early in the week,” he said.

“He’ll need to pass a few concussion tests, but we expect him to play.”

Defender Tom Doedee will need to complete training to play against Woodville-West Torrens on Saturday.

Doedee, 20, has missed the Club’s last two SANFL games because of a shoulder injury.

Kyle Cheney and Alex Keath will increase their training loads as they prepare to return to the field.

Hass said the defenders, who haven’t played a game for points at either level this year, were only likely to miss one more State League game.

“They’ll join the main group next week," he said.

"With the SANFL bye in Round Six, they’re expected to play in the SANFL in Round Seven.”
