Josh Jenkins celebrates during Adelaide's 43-point win over Essendon on Saturday night

Josh Jenkins had a season-high 130 AFL Fantasy points in Adelaide’s 43-point win over Essendon at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night.

The athletic forward had 21 disposals, five inside 50ms and kicked three goals in what was perhaps his best all-round performance this season.

He proved to be a force in the air, taking a season-high 11 marks in another boost to his overall score.

It’s the fifth-time Jenkins has hit triple Fantasy figures this season, making him an intriguing prospect for team owners as they continue to navigate the pointy end of their AFL Fantasy campaigns.

The run home: Round 22

Brodie Smith followed with 120 points, electric around the contest as he collected 23 disposals, nine marks, five inside 50ms and two goals.

His running game off half-back was reflected through five rebound 50ms and a career-high 10 bounces. The attacking defender made the most of his opportunities as he continues to build on an impressive second half of the season.

Meanwhile, Rory Atkins (103) and Rory Laird (98) shared more than a name – the pair had 27 touches apiece and operated at an identical 92.6 per cent disposal efficiency in the win.

It was a season-high score for David Mackay (102), his defensive pressure on show as he laid seven tackles, had two rebound 50ms and notched 19 disposals.

Mackay’s first ton for the season came just six days after exiting Showdown XLIII in the opening minutes with a corked quad.

Rory Sloane (97) and Richard Douglas (97) fell just shy of the century, while it was a sign of Matt Crouch's excellent form that a ‘quieter’ performance by his standards (96) still had him record 35 disposals and a team-high seven clearances.
