Sydney Swans skipper Josh Kennedy will take his place in Friday night's blockbuster against Adelaide.

The 28-year-old has missed the last two matches due to a hamstring injury sustained against his former club Hawthorn.

Kennedy replaces Nic Newman (omitted) as Sydney’s only change ahead of Friday night’s huge clash at Adelaide Oval.

Newman hyperextended his knee in a collision during last weekend's win over Fremantle and but was cleared of any structural damage, however won’t be risked against the Crows.
