Crows premiership captain Mark Bickley will present the 2017 Premiership Cup to Adelaide if the Club is victorious at the MCG on Saturday.

Bickley is Adelaide’s only premiership skipper after leading Adelaide to back-to-back titles in 1997 and 1998.

An inaugural Crow and Life Member of the Club, Bickley served as captain for four seasons between 1997 and 2000 in a career which spanned 13 seasons.

He was named Best Team Man on three occasions – more than any other Crow – and is ranked seventh on Adelaide’s all-time games list with 272 AFL appearances.

Bickley said it would be a privilege to be involved if the Crows were successful on Saturday.

“It is a great honour and if Adelaide is good enough to win, I would be humbled to pass the baton on so to speak,” Bickley said.

“I consider it a privilege to be part of such a great Club and am proud of everyone who has worked there past and present.

“Credit to Don Pyke and Taylor Walker and the rest of the guys for what they have been able to achieve and like all the fans I am desperate to see them hold up the cup on Saturday.

“Every club has a story to tell but Adelaide has shown remarkable resilience and determination.”

Former Richmond forward Matthew Richardson will present the cup to the Tigers if they claim victory at the MCG.
