Jenna McCormick will be unavailable for Adelaide’s AFLW game against the Brisbane Lions on Saturday night as she fulfils her commitments with Adelaide United in the W-League.

The dual sport athlete will play in the last minor round game of the season with United in Adelaide on Friday night, and will return to full-time training with the Crows next week.

McCormick explains how she juggles playing two codes in the latest BHP Down to Earth video.

With the W-League season coinciding with the AFLW pre-season, McCormick has had a busy few months.

“In season with soccer, I’m training most of the nights there and when I can I am getting over to West Lakes and kicking the footy with the girls once or twice a week,” McCormick said.

“I’ve been able to juggle both and fit as much in as I can.”

Despite the hectic few months, 23-year-old McCormick loves competing at an elite level in both sports.

“There’s nothing more I love than both these sports,” she said.

“To be able to have two really great clubs behind me working hand in hand, side by side, making my life easy and giving me the best platform to play both sports is really cool.”

McCormick is looking forward to the 2018 season.

“The AFLW league is bigger and better and something that has come to light and something that I want to keep pursuing,” she said.

Adelaide's full team for Saturday night's AFLW game against the Brisbane Lions will be released at 5.30pm SA time.
