Crows co-captains Erin Phillips and Chelsea Randall have been nominated for AFLW Goal and Mark of the Year, respectively.

Phillips, who won Goal of the Year in 2017, is in line for the award again this season.

The reigning AFLW Best and Fairest has been nominated for her brilliant snap from the boundary line at Norwood Oval against the Western Bulldogs in Round Three. It was her fourth goal for the game and sealed Adelaide’s first win of the season.

Phillips is one of three contenders for Goal of the Year, along with Collingwood captain Steph Chiocci and Melbourne forward Aliesha Newman.

Newman received the nod for her blistering running goal against Adelaide in Round Two, while Chiocci’s spin out of trouble and long goal against the Demons in Round Four is also in the running.

The winner will be chosen by the AFLW All Australian team selectors, taking into account their own discussion and a fan poll.

Randall’s courageous mark going back with the flight against Fremantle in Darwin is one of three finalists for AFL Mark of the Year.

Tall forwards Tayla Harris (Carlton) and Phoebe McWilliams (GWS) have also been nominated for spectacular grabs during the season.

The winner of AFLW Mark of the Year will be chosen by the 10-person AFLW Awards panel. Each panelist will have one vote, with the fans’ collective decision to count as one vote.

Voting for both awards closes at 11.59pm EDST Thursday, March 22.

The winners will be announced at the AFLW Awards in Melbourne on March 27.
