Saints coach Alan Richardson has responded to his side’s 52-point loss to North Melbourne on Good Friday, making four changes for Saturday night’s clash with Adelaide at Etihad Stadium.

2017 No. 8 draft pick Nick Coffield will make his AFL debut, while young defender Brandon White and rookie Rowan Marshall are set to play their first senior games of the season.

Marshall replaces Billy Longer in the ruck, faced with the task of tackling Sam Jacobs in just his second game of AFL football having debuted against Sydney in Round 18 last year.

South Australian Luke Dunstan has also earned a senior recall after a 36-disposal, 15 clearance performance in a VFL practice match last week.

Midfielders Jack Steele and Koby Stevens, along with first-round draft pick Hunter Clark have all been omitted.

St Kilda’s AFL team is:

HF: Blake Acres, Josh Bruce, Jack Billings
