Adelaide forward Mitch McGovern has been nominated for AFL Mark of the Year.

In the third quarter of Saturday night’s 55-point win over Carlton, McGovern soared over Blues defender Liam Jones, taking in some serious hang time before plucking the Sherrin.

West Coast’s Jack Darling and Melbourne’s Bayley Fritsch round out the Round Seven nominees.

Fans can now view and vote for their favourite mark here.

Voting closes the night before the commencement of Round Eight.

All members of the public that vote and pick a weekly winner in the 2018 Woolworths Mark of the Year will go into the draw to win $10,000.

At the end of each 2018 Toyota AFL Premiership Season Round, the AFL Media editorial team will nominate three marks for public voting for the weekly Woolworths Mark of the Year.

In a change that came into effect for the 2018 Toyota AFL Premiership Season, footy fans will become the eleventh member of the AFL All Australian selection panel who will determine the overall winner for the Woolworths Mark of the Year Award. Fans will be able to vote for their favourite mark of the year via AFL.com.au.

The 2018 Woolworths Mark of the Year award winner will be announced at the 2018 Brownlow Medal Count. The player that wins the 2018 Woolworths Mark of the Year will receive $10,000.
