Crows forward Eddie Betts has earned his first Team of the Week berth for 2018, named in the forward pocket of Kane Cornes’ team for Round Nine.

Betts polled a perfect 10 in the AFL Coaches’ votes earlier in the week for his match-winning four goals against the Western Bulldogs in wet conditions on Friday night. 

Adelaide’s Round 10 opponent, Melbourne, had a round-high five players named in the Team of the Week including former Crow Jake Lever and ruckman Max Gawn.
