Exciting draftee Darcy Fogarty has committed to Adelaide until at least the end of 2021 after signing a two-year contract extension.

Taken with pick No.12 in the 2017 National Draft, Fogarty debuted at the earliest possible opportunity in Round One against Essendon.

The 18-year-old has had an immediate impact at AFL level kicking six goals from six games so far this season.

Fogarty said he was thrilled to get this opportunity so early in his career.

“Everyone at the Club has been fantastic to me ever since I arrived,” Fogarty said.

“As a kid you dream of playing AFL footy and to get the chance to do that at the Crows is amazing.

“It’s a great environment to play and train in and I look forward to continuing to learn from my teammates and coaches.”

Crows General Manager List Management and Strategy Justin Reid said it Fogarty was an important part of the Club’s future.

“Darcy’s work ethic and commitment since he arrived at the Club has been first class,” Reid said.

“His ability to transition from underage and State League football to the AFL has been really impressive.

“As a first-round draft pick we clearly rate him highly and are excited to see him continue to develop.”
