Adelaide will challenge Bryce Gibbs’ rough conduct charge at the AFL Tribunal.

Gibbs was offered a $2,000 sanction with an early guilty plea for an incident involving Geelong’s Joel Selwood in the first quarter of Thursday’s Round 17 clash.

The Crows midfielder will face the Tribunal on Tuesday evening from 5pm Melbourne time.

If the challenge is unsuccessful, Gibbs will incur a sanction of $3,000 for careless conduct with low impact to the head.

Captain Taylor Walker has accepted his one-match ban for engaging in rough conduct and will miss the upcoming Round 18 clash with Brisbane at The Gabba.
