Could Adelaide’s best bromance be on the rocks?

Crows fans have shown their love for Brodie Smith after the defender was left heartbroken by Rory Laird’s decision to take a different date to the All Australian awards on Wednesday night.

After the Club posted a photo of Laird and his date, Smith commented on the post to express his hurt.

'Brodiesmith unfollowed rorylaird'

When the Crows shared his comment on its Twitter page, the No. 33 was quick to respond.

The half-backs have had a special connection on and off the field since Laird was rookie listed by the Crows in 2011.

Brodie and I.

In 2017, Laird posted a photo of the duo at the Brownlow Medal dinner in Adelaide.

I found a date.

Laird was one of the first to get behind his defensive partner-in-crime as he prepared to make his return to AFL football in Showdown 45.

And when Laird collected a career-high 43 disposals in the Round 15 win over Geelong, Smith was quick to show his support.
