Second-year player Jordan Gallucci became well acquainted with senior football in 2018, playing 16 games for the Crows after making just one appearance in 2017.

The 20-year-old started the season in the SANFL but played his first AFL game in Round Five and went on to play 16 of the remaining 18 games.

Gallucci kicked 15 goals this season to average just under a goal a game, finishing the season with a career-high four goals against Carlton to prove he belongs at the level.

He impressed in Round Six, with 20 disposals and two goals as Adelaide defeated Gold Coast, and in Round 17 kicking another two in the win over Geelong.

Gallucci saved his best for last when he kicked a career-high four goals in Adelaide’s Round 23 win over Carlton.

He had 17 disposals, has seven inside 50s, took six marks and laid four tackles in the Crows’ dominant 104-point win over the Blues.

Post-match, coach Don Pyke said he was happy to see the young Crow make a major impact on the scoreboard.

“He’s looking more and more comfortable at AFL level,” he said.
