Paul Seedsman became a vital part of Adelaide’s midfield in 2018 as his impressive speed and penetrating right foot contributed to a breakout year.

After injury plagued his 2017 season, the 26-year-old found continuity in 2018 and recorded career-best statistics all over the ground, including 13 goals, 390 disposals and 42 rebound 50s.

The winger provided plenty of drive through the middle and into the forward line with 80 inside 50s, ranked second at Adelaide, across his 19 games.

He ranked seventh in the AFL for average metres gained (494.1) in the home and away season to go with 20.5 disposals per game.

Seedsman was outstanding in Adelaide’s 49-point win over St Kilda in Round Three.
