Luke Brown added versatility to his game in 2018 in the absence of attacking half-back Brodie Smith.

The lockdown defender was strong in transition with a career-high 70 rebound 50s, ranked second at the Club, and 26 inside 50s.

Standing some of the best small forwards in the game, he conceded just 1.2 goals per game on average.

He averaged 15.1 disposals at an elite 82.8 per cent efficiency across his 20 games.

Brown finished seventh in the 2018 Club Champion, his first top-ten finish since 2013.
