Adelaide will start the 2019 Toyota AFL Premiership Season at home, hosting Hawthorn in a twilight match on Saturday, March 23.

The Crows have won both of their Opening Round games at Adelaide Oval, defeating Greater Western Sydney by 56 points in 2017 and North Melbourne by 77 points in 2015. However, they are yet to beat the Hawks at the venue, losing all three encounters by an average of 18 points.

Adelaide will be hoping to unleash a full-strength lineup against the Hawks, including Brad Crouch and Brodie Smith, who both missed the majority of 2018 through injury. New arrivals Tyson Stengle and Shane McAdam will both be pushing to secure Round One debuts in the Crows forward line.

Meantime, former Port Adelaide forward Chad Wingard could make his club debut for the Hawks after being traded from the Power in the recent Trade Period.
