Charlie Cameron is free to play against Melbourne despite being charged by the Match Review Panel.

Cameron has accepted a $1,500 fine for striking North Melbourne forward Kayne Turner in the first quarter at Blundstone Arena on Saturday.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as intentional conduct with low impact to the body. It was Cameron’s second classifiable offence, resulting in a $2,500 sanction.

An early plea enabled him to accept a $1,500 sanction.

Another incident involving Adelaide midfielder Brad Crouch was assessed. Crouch gave away a free kick for a dangerous tackle on Kangaroo Sean Atley.

It was the view of the MRP that there was no significant contact for Atley’s head to the ground, with primary contact being to his shoulder in the tackle and that the free kick at the time addressed the incident. No further action was taken.

North Melbourne forward Jarrad Waite has accepted a one-game ban for rough conduct on Tom Lynch.

Lynch was concussed in a Waite tackle just prior to half-time and didn't return to the field.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as careless conduct with medium impact to the head.

The incident was classified as a two-match sanction. Waite has no applicable record which impacts the penalty. An early plea enabled him to accept one-match sanction.
