A host of former Crows including Tony Modra and Andrew McLeod will run out onto Adelaide Oval on Friday, August 31, to take part in the annual EJ Whitten Legends Game.

Adelaide’s first premiership coach Malcolm Blight will lead the All Stars side against Terry Wallace’s Victorian team.

Ex-Crows Mark Bickley, Scott Thompson, Andrew Jarman, Nathan Bock and Sean Wellman will also represent the All Stars.

It is the first time the Legends game will be played at Adelaide Oval, with the EJ Whitten Foundation teaming up with local South Australian charity, The Little Heroes Foundation to raise funds for prostate cancer research and seriously ill children.

The Crows Children’s Foundation is also partnered with The Little Heroes Foundation.

Jarman is looking forward to running out onto Adelaide Oval and playing in front of a home crowd.

“I can’t wait to get involved with the brothers. It’s our turf, it’s our backyard, we need 50,000 there to see some magical football,” Jarman said.

“It’s a big occasion for the All Stars and the Victorian boys, we are very grateful for the opportunity.

“The EJ Whitten Foundation and the Little Heroes Foundation do a wonderful job, so we’ve got to get out there and raise as much money as we can.”

Tickets to the game are available at ticketek.com.au and kids under 15 will get into the game for free.
