Darcy Fogarty became an instant Crows cult hero after an impressive display in the JLT Community Series, including three first-half goals against Port Adelaide at Alberton Oval.

Adelaide’s first pick from the 2017 National Draft made his AFL debut in Round One against Essendon and turned his first touch of the footy into a goal.

Captain Taylor Walker praised Darcy Fogarty after he kicked four goals in his first two AFL games.

“I love him, he’s tough, tough as a cat’s head,” Walker said.

“He just understands the game. He’s got great leading patterns, he’s not afraid to stand up for himself and he’s going to have a bright future.”
