Adelaide has taken the points over Carlton on the back of nine individual goal kickers. Mitch McGovern was at his high-flying best, taking nine marks and finishing with a career-high five majors, while fellow forward Josh Jenkins took seven marks of his own on the way to a three-goal night.

Veteran Richard Douglas had another superb evening, dominating the third term when the game was up for grabs to finish with 28 disposals, 13 of which were contested, and two goals. He also won the most clearances of any player on the ground with eight.

Eddie Betts had some trademark electric moments against his old side and slotted two goals from his 10 possessions. Stand-in skipper Tom Lynch played his role perfectly, ending with two goals from 18 touches and five marks.

Hugh Greenwood continued his fine early season form with 19 touches, 14 contested, and six clearances along with two majors. He also laid a team-high eight tackles. Cam Ellis-Yolmen was tough on the inside all night, collecting 25 disposals, six clearances and six tackles.

Bryce Gibbs had a solid first outing against his former side with 21 disposals, seven tackles and a goal. Matt Crouch was back to his best in the midfield, racking up an equal-team high 32 disposals along with defender Rory Laird. Laird also took six marks as he provided plenty of run from the back half.

Sam Jacobs worked hard all game in the ruck, tallying 32 hit-outs to go with two goal assists and an equal game-high five inside 50ms.

Daniel Talia was as reliable as ever in defence, keeping his opponents quiet while collecting 15 touches of his own.

Fans can login or register here for free to vote for their three top Crows after every game of the 2018 season.

One lucky participant after each round will claim a signed Hertz Crows football, courtesy of the Club’s official match ball partner, simply by voting. Don’t forget members of the Adelaide Football Club are also entitled to 20% off car rentals through Hertz

Polls open immediately after every Crows game. Users assign three votes to the player they deem Adelaide’s best contributor, two to the second-best and one vote for their third most valuable Crow in each match.

Polling closes on Tuesday at 4.30pm (SA time) after each round when the final votes are collated using a points system.

A maximum of 100 points per game can be awarded to the entire team. Each player is given a percentage of the total votes received to go towards their season tally (For example, if 1,200 votes were placed in Round One and Taylor Walker receives 600 then that is the equivalent of 50 per cent of all votes for that round and he would receive 50 points towards his season tally. If the second best player received 120 votes from 1,200 then that is the equivalent of 10 per cent and he will get 10 votes towards the season tally).

This process is repeated each round and players accumulate points towards their season tally. The player at the top of the leaderboard at the end of the season is crowned the Crows Fans’ MVP.
