With his second major against the Giants on Sunday, Eddie Betts became the 44th player in VFL/AFL history to kick 550 goals.

Marks were at a premium, GWS finished with 70 and Adelaide held onto just 65. Hawthorn took the most in Round 11 with 143.

The Giants collected the most tackles of any side in Round 11 (96) while the Crows ranked second (75). For the Giants, Daniel Lloyd and Tim Taranto lead the way with nine each while Bryce Gibbs also had nine for the Crows.

The clash was a contested one, with Adelaide recording the most contested possessions of any side for the Round (185) and GWS second (166). Matt Crouch had 18 for the Crows and Tim Taranto finished with 15 for the Giants.

Adelaide also recorded the most total clearances in Round 11 (52) but were beaten by the Giants in centre clearances 14 to 13.

The Crows had a Round-low disposal efficiency of 65.8 per cent, conceding seven goals from turnovers, five of which came in the first half.

Richard Douglas had 13 unique score involvements, equal-first across the League for the Round.

The Giants did the little things well, tallying the most one percenters of any side in Round 11 (71). Sam Taylor and Phil Davis finished with 11 each.

Sam Jacobs just edged out Rory Lobb in the hit-outs stat, ending the game with 38 to Lobb’s 37. Jacobs finished with 15 hit-outs to advantage while Lobb recorded 14.

Jacobs to Gibbs was the most common ruck-rover combination across the League in Round 11, with eight successful attempts.

Heath Shaw had a competition-high nine rebound 50ms on Sunday evening.

GWS had the most kicks over 40m for the Round (110), with Adelaide the second most (101). 75 of the Giants’ long kicks were effective and 65 of the Crows’ were recorded as effective.

Paul Seedsman is still the League’s leading metres gained player (5909m), but Heath Shaw has closed the gap and sits second (5839m)
