An equal-League high three Crows have been recognised in the AFL’s Team of the Week for Round 16.

Ball magnet Rory Laird earned his first Team of the Week spot since Round Nine with an influential performance against the Western Bulldogs last Friday night.

Laird had an equal-game high 32 disposals at 88 per cent efficiency along with 12 marks and five rebound 50ms to be named in a back pocket.

It’s the fourth time this year that Laird has been included in the Team of the Week.

Fellow defender Jake Lever continued his rich run of recent form to be named at full-back alongside Laird.

The talented 21-year-old amassed 22 possessions and claimed 11 marks, including a game-high five intercepts, in Adelaide’s big win over the Bulldogs.

The 27-year-old was named at centre half-forward in his third Team of the Week appearance of 2017.

St Kilda joined Adelaide with three representatives in the Round 16 Team of the Week. Geelong, Sydney, Essendon, Carlton, Fremantle and Port Adelaide all had two players feature ahead of Brisbane, Greater Western Sydney, Melbourne and Hawthorn who had one representative each.
