Adelaide boasts 10 players inside the top 100 of the competition according to the AFL’s Official Player Ratings.

Vice-captain Rory Sloane remains the Club's highest rated player in the standings.

Sloane is fourth in the rankings, which uses a statistical algorithm to measure a player’s impact across his previous 40 games.

He began the 2017 season ranked the seventh overall player, rising three positions to now sit at No.4 overall and within striking distance of Geelong’s Patrick Dangerfield (No.1), Richmond’s Dustin Martin (No.2) and Collingwood’s Scott Pendlebury (No.3).

Sloane has been ranked inside the top 10 consistently for the past three years, rising as high as second overall in Round Seven, 2017.

But it’s the rise of young onballer Matt Crouch that has taken many in the AFL world by surprise.

The younger Crouch has risen a staggering 66 spots this year to now be ranked the competition's 56th best player after starting the year ranked No.122 overall.

It’s an accurate reflection of Crouch's career-best season, with the 22-year-old leading Adelaide’s disposal and clearance counts in 2017.

Crouch is ranked the third-best Crow at the Club according to the ranking system behind only Sloane and Eddie Betts, who is ranked second at the Club and No.22 overall after an outstanding season up forward.

The livewire forward is also ranked the second-best small forward in the game, trailng only Greater Western Sydney’s Toby Greene by just 16.3 ranking points.

Captain Taylor Walker continues to be another significant mover in this year’s Player Ratings, now ranked 57th overall after entering the season ranked No.92.

It’s the highest ranking ever for ‘Tex’, who has steadily risen up the standings after returning from a serious knee injury in 2014.

Sam Jacobs has continued to exhibit strong form in 2017, ranked the fifth-best ruckman in the competition at No.59 overall.

Jacobs sits behind North Melbourne’s Todd Goldstein (No.14), Melbourne’s Max Gawn (No.16), Greater Western Sydney’s Shane Mumford (No.33) and Collingwood’s Brodie Grundy (No.43).

Richard Douglas (No.63), Rory Laird (No.72), Brodie Smith (No.78), Tom Lynch (No.80) and Josh Jenkins (No.94) are the final Crows rated inside the AFL’s top 100 players.
