Defender Kyle Cheney will boost the SANFL Crows backline when he makes a return from injury against North Adelaide on Saturday afternoon.

In Adelaide’s Round One SANFL clash against Port Adelaide, Cheney suffered a hamstring injury and has been sidelined since.

Small forward Lachlan Murphy will play his first game for the SANFL Crows this year.

Murphy played last season in the SANFL as a development squad member, with the game against the Roosters his first as an AFL listed player.

Darcy Fogarty (AFL selection), Curtly Hampton (adductor) and Michael McMahon (unavailable) are the changes from the Round Five side.

Development squad members Tyson Irlam and Joesph Brown have been named on the extended bench and are a chance to play their first game for the season.

If named, it will be Irlam’s SANFL debut.

North Adelaide are currently on top of the SANFL ladder after five rounds.

The game against the Roosters at Prospect Oval starts at 2.10pm on Saturday.
