Footy fans believe four Crows are deserving of All Australian honours this season.

Adelaide had a League-high eight representatives named in this year’s All Australian squad and supporters reckon half of the Crows contingent will advance into the final 22.

More than 9,000 people had their say on which players would be deserving of All Australian status ahead of Wednesday night’s official presentation in Melbourne.

Fans felt three-time nominee Rory Laird would be a lock for the backline.

The former rookie has enjoyed another standout season, averaging a career-best 30 disposals at an incredible 81 per cent efficiency.

Laird was one of two Crows named on the field in the Fans’ All Australian side of 2017.

Popular goalkicker Eddie Betts was tipped to earn his third consecutive All Australian blazer.

The livewire Crow has kicked more goals than any other small forward this season to be equal with fellow All Australian nominee Taylor Walker on 49 goals for the season.

Fans placed Betts at full-forward in their All Australian team.

Midfielders Rory Sloane and Matt Crouch earned spots on the interchange in the fan-voted side.

Sloane was the top tackler in the competition this year with 176 and averaged 25 possessions and six clearances a match. The Crows vice-captain also kicked 18 goals through the home and away season.

Footy fans voted for fellow Crows onballer Matt Crouch to claim his first All Australian spot.

The prolific midfielder has put together a career-best season, averaging 33 disposals, six clearances and five tackles a game.

The 22-year-old finished the minor round top 10 in contested possessions (294), hard-ball gets (130), loose-ball gets (97) and handball receives (350) to cap off a consistent 2017 campaign.

Footy fans overlooked Taylor Walker, Sam Jacobs, Jake Lever and Tom Lynch in the experiment.

Richmond’s Alex Rance received the most fan votes of any player in the polls.

Geelong’s Patrick Dangerfield was the most popular midfield selection and earned the All Australian captaincy from supporters.

The 2017 All Australian team will be revealed in Melbourne on Wednesday night.
