Paul Seedsman’s skills were on show at the Drummond Golf Crows Classic held at the Glenelg Golf Club on Friday.

A keen golfer, Seedsman took out Nearest the Pin honours on hole 3, while assistant coach James Podsiadly claimed the same title on the 16th with a tee shot that landed only 30cm from the hole.

Forward line coach David Teague hit the longest drive of the day on the 18th hole.

Current Crows Seedsman, Taylor Walker, Rory Sloane, Brodie Smith, Mitch McGovern, Dean Gore, Charlie Cameron and Riley Knight, coaches Teague, Podsiadly, Don Pyke and Nathan van Berlo, and Club legend Tony Modra were spread across the 25 competing teams.

The Corporal Security team claimed the Drummond Golf Crows Classic for the second straight year, while Chief Commercial Officer and premiership great Nigel Smart’s team ranked last.

Thank you to the following commercial partners who made the day possible: Drummond Golf, Glenelg Golf Club, Toyota, Balfours, Carlton United Breweries, Romeo’s Retail Group, Bird In Hand Wines, RAA, Thomas Farms Kitchens and PPI Promotions & Apparel.
