Three Crows feature in the AFL’s Team of the Week for the second consecutive round.

Captain Taylor Walker and reliable defender Rory Laird retained their spots in the Team of the Week after influential performances against Melbourne in Darwin.

Laird was the leading ball winner on the ground with 34 possessions and an equal-game high nine rebound 50ms against the Demons. The former rookie locked down a back pocket in this week’s side for his fifth Team of the Week appearance of 2017.

Walker, 27, led from the front in Saturday night’s victory with four goals from 21 possessions and eight marks, including five marks inside forward 50.

Now equal-third in the Coleman Medal race with 41 goals for the year, Walker was named in a forward pocket in the Round 17 Team of the Week. It’s the fourth time he’s featured in the side this season.

Hard-running utility Tom Lynch marked an amazing return to action after missing two matches due to Viral Meningitis.

Lynch amassed 27 possessions, 11 marks and booted three goals. The former Saint also gained more metres than any other Crow at TIO Stadium, moving the ball forward 579 metres.

The 26-year-old was named on a half-forward flank in the Round 17 Team of the Week for his fourth appearance since Round Nine.

Adelaide led the way for the second round in a row with three representatives alongside Essendon. West Coast, the Western Bulldogs, Port Adelaide and Geelong had two players feature ahead of Richmond, Brisbane, Sydney, Hawthorn, North Melbourne, Collingwood, Greater Western Sydney and Gold Coast with one player apiece.
