When will I find out if I have been successful in the ballot?

All Members who completed the Member Registration process will receive an email from the Club by Monday 25 September which will notify their result. Alternatively, you will be able to check via the Ticketek website if you were either successful or unsuccessful.

If successful, when will I know the ticket/s I have been issued?

Tickets were allocated to Members on the weekend (September 23 or September 24) following our Preliminary Final game against Geelong. Successful Members were automatically charged via Ticketek to the card used to register for Grand Final tickets and sent a confirmation email to their MyTicketek account with their ticket details and cost.

If successful, when and where can I collect my ticket/s?

If you are successful in receiving a ticket for the 2017 Toyota AFL Grand Final, you will be able to collect your ticket/s from a Ticketek Pre-Paid Collection Outlet from 9am on Tuesday 26 September. Tickets can only be collected by the credit card holder who registered through Ticketek. They must also present photo ID and may be asked for the Ticketek account number.  Under no circumstances will any tickets be posted by mail from Ticketek.

Tickets may also be collected at Ticket Windows outside the MCG on Grand Final Day however the Club recommends all Members arrange their ticket collection prior to the day to avoid queues.

 

What are the ticket prices for the 2017 Toyota AFL Grand Final?

Members who registered for the Grand Final were advised to please ensure that have enough funds (enough to cover the cost of a Category 1 ticket) for all tickets that they registered for. Please note there is no Junior price available for the 2017 Toyota AFL Grand Final.

Can I resell my tickets to the Grand Final?

Under no circumstances are patrons allowed to resell tickets, without written consent of the ticket agent and the AFL, for the 2017 Toyota AFL Grand Final, a listed Major Event. If any tickets are found to be sold, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission. Any reselling or scalping may attract criminal penalties.

How are tickets allocated to members for the Grand Final?

Tickets for the 2017 Toyota AFL Grand Final are allocated automatically by Ticketek. Members are unable to change the ticket type or their ticket/seated area they have been allocated. However, if you do not wish to attend see below the details for ‘What if I am no longer able to attend the Grand Final?’

Members were provided with the following preferences during their registration period:

  1. I will accept the next best available ticket – including standing room

Members can receive Category 1-7 Reserved Seat, Restricted View or Standing Room ticket. These will be allocated on next best available basis.

  1. I will accept the next best available ticket – no standing room

Members can receive a Category 1-7 or Restricted View Reserved Seat only. Members will not be allocated a Standing Room ticket.

What were the priority groups for members?

Priority 1 Members (Gold Members, Legends Members and Captains Club Members), were provided a guaranteed Grand Final ticket (if registered).
Priority 2 Members (Silver Reserved Seat Members, Essential Crows Members, AFL Silver Members, Victorian Members, Interstate Members, Home General Admission Members and Bronze Members) were only issued with a ticket if they were successful in the Grand Final ballot.

If a Priority 1 Member registered with a Priority 2 Member, then the Priority 1 ‘guaranteed access’ was forfeited.

I’m an AFL Member with Adelaide Club Support. What can I register for?

AFL Silver Members with Adelaide Club Support (including Club Gold Upgrade Members) were able to register in the Club’s Member Registration day. If you did register this way, you will receive communications from the Club regarding your result from the registration. As you have registered with the Club, you will be unable to register into the AFL Members Grand Final ballot.

Full AFL Members with Adelaide Club Support can purchase tickets between 10am and 1pm on Sunday 24 September. If any tickets remain, AFL Silver Members with Adelaide Club Support (who did not register with the Club) will be able to register on Monday 25 September between 11am and 1pm to try their luck. Will there be any buses heading to Melbourne for the Grand Final?

The Crows Supporter Group have now sold out of their buses.

Will there be a Crows Jet heading over for the Grand Final?

No, there will not be any Crows Jets flying over for the Grand Final. The Club is unable to assist with travel arrangements and all attendees are encouraged to plan their own method of transport to the 2017 Toyota AFL Grand Final.

If I didn’t register, how can I buy a ticket?

If you did not register for Grand Final tickets on Wednesday 13 September during the Grand Final Member Registration day, you will not be able to access any tickets.

Is there likely to be general public tickets on sale for the Grand Final?

There are no general public ticket sales or any remaining corporate packages for the 2017 Toyota AFL Grand Final. If you wish to register for the waitlist for a corporate package, please visit www.afleventoffice.com.au.

What is the policy for Juniors attending the Grand Final?

There is no junior price for the 2017 Toyota AFL Grand Final. Children aged 3 and under as at 1 January 2017 are entitled to enter the ground at no charge with a ticketed guardian; however they must not occupy a seat.

What are the Concession requirements for the Grand Final?

A person who has obtained a concession ticket must have the appropriate form of concession and must present the relevant concession documentation at point of purchase and upon entry to the ground. Patrons holding one of the following cards are eligible to purchase a concession ticket: Centrelink issued Health Care Card, Centrelink issued Pensioner Concession Card, Department of Veterans’ Affair card or Department of Verans’ Affairs issued Pensioner Concession Card and full time secondary or tertiary student cards.

Am I able to upgrade my ticket on the day?

No upgrades will be available on the day, so the person using the ticket must reflect the ticket type (e.g. Concession ticket can only be used by a Concession or Junior).
