Crows captain Taylor Walker has accepted a $1,000 fine for striking West Coast midfielder Luke Shuey.

The contact occurred late in the second quarter of Adelaide’s clash with the Eagles on Saturday night. It triggered a scuffle near the boundary line of Domain Stadium.

The Match Review Panel assessed the incident as careless conduct with low impact to the body.

The incident was classified as a $1,500 sanction. Walker has no applicable record which impacted the penalty. An early plea enables the forward to accept a $1,000 sanction. He remains eligible to play against North Melbourne on Thursday, June 23.
