Two Crows have been inducted into the Tasmanian Football Hall of Fame.

Current Adelaide Head of Football David Noble and former player Ian Callinan – who started their football careers in Tasmania – were officially welcomed to the Hall of Fame last weekend.

Noble played in two senior premierships with North Hobart before joining AFL club Fitzroy, where he played to games in 1991. He played and coached at country level before progressing as a coach through the TAC Cup, working as an assistant coach at the Western Bulldogs, coaching Glenelg in the SANFL and then joining the Crows as an assistant coach in 2005.

From Clarence, Callinan made the All Australian Under 18 side in 2000 but had to wait nearly 11 years to earn his first opportunity at an AFL club.

He played with distinction with Tasmania in the VFL and Central District in the SANFL before he was drafted by the Crows as a rookie at the end of 2010 and then made his AFL debut the following season.

Callinan was Adelaide’s SANFL captain in his last two years with the Club before returning to Tasmania at the end of last year.
