LAST WEEK’S NEWS
Leading the way this week was the Fantasy veteran Scott Thompson (MID, $562,000). He knocked up 125pts, backing up the 115 he had last week. He is in hot form at the moment and is showing signs of his 2011 Fantasy season where he averaged a career best 109.

Cam Ellis-Yolmen (MID, $284,000) continued his good run with 82 as did defender Matthew Jaensch (DEF, $483,000) with 114, his second score over 110 this year.

On the flip-side of that, Rory Sloane (MID, $594,000) only managed 61pts, his worst output since round 8, 2013. He’ll bounce back this week in the ‘Showdown’ that has seen him score 102, 113 and 111 in his last three games against Port Adelaide.

Another interesting fact about Sloane is he averages 15pts more a game when he plays in front of his home crowd over the last two years and should score 120+ this week.

ON THE RADAR
I mentioned Jake Kelly (DEF, $165,000) last week and if you missed it, it’s still not too late to bring in the young gun. He has now scored 51 and 65 and has jumped up $45,000 from his original price. He has a break-even of -8 and will only continue to climb in value over the next few weeks. Good defenders are hard find and although he won’t set the scoreboard on fire, he’s a great bench option in your backline.
