Greater Western Sydney could look to its in-form NEAFL team to strengthen its side ahead of the Giants’ clash with Adelaide at Spotless Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

GWS, searching for three consecutive wins for the first time in the club’s history, has several players pushing their case for senior selection following the UWS Giants’ 38-point win over Brisbane Reserves.

Young midfielder Josh Kelly was best-on-ground with a game-high 36 possessions and three goals in his quest for a recall.

Untried draftee Jack Steele was also dominant through the midfield with 33 disposals and 11 tackles, while former Bulldog Dylan Addison could be in line for his first AFL appearance of the season after collecting 21 possessions.

Curtly Hampton could also come under consideration after collecting 35 touches from defence. Hampton hasn’t played at senior level since the Giants’ opening-round clash with St Kilda.

The Giants also have options up forward should coach Leon Cameron require more firepower against the Crows, with Jed Lamb (five goals) and ruckman Rory Lobb (three) both in fine touch.

The UWS Giants sit on top of the NEAFL ladder after six rounds and have only lost one game so far this season.
