South Australia’s U18 side can stay in the national title race if it overcomes unbeaten Vic Country at AAMI Stadium on Sunday.

The Croweaters, who have won their past two games against WA and Vic Metro after losing to WA by one point in the opening round in Perth, will make at least two changes to last weekend’s team.

Woodville-West Torrens big man Luke Hoare is set to play his first game of the carnival whileCentral’s Kyle Presbury, Norwood mature-ager Peter Bampton and Sturt forward Jordan Dawson have bene named in the squad of 25.

North’s Maris Olekalns and Glenelg’s Mason Redman have been squeezed out of the squad due to the compulsory rotation policy which states at least 30 players must play two Championship matches.

Vic Country boast several players considered to be top ten draft candidates, including Jacob Weitering, Darcy Parish, Darcy Tucker and Josh Schache.
