Scott Thompson, who has played eight of a possible 10 matches, has averaged more possessions per game (26.1) than any other Crow this season. However, Patrick Dangerfield leads the way in total disposals with 257 ahead of Rory Laird on 224 and Thompson on 209.

Dangerfield is the second-highest ranked midfielder in the game according to Champion Data points. Only Fremantle's Nat Fyfe is ranked ahead of the two-time All Australian Crow.

Dangerfield is No.2 in the AFL for contested possessions (152) behind raging Brownlow Medal favourite Fyfe. Scott Thompson is 17th (117) despite having missed the opening two rounds of the season through injury.

Adelaide is ranked second in contested possessions (total) with an average of 144.5.

Dangerfield is seventh in the League in hard-ball gets (58), loose-ball gets (43) and also clearances (69) – level with teammate Thompson. Thompson averages the second-most clearances of any player in the competition (8.6) behind only Fyfe (8.7).

Adelaide is the best clearance team in the League, averaging 43.2 per game.

The dynamic Dangerfield is equal third in tackles (65) and 10th for inside 50ms (49). He has taken 13 contested marks – the second most of any midfielder behind Fyfe and is third in coach Phil Walsh’s favourite statistic – ground-ball gets (101).

Adelaide is ranked fourth for inside 50ms, averaging 56.1 per game. However, the Crows are only 11th when it comes to converting their entries into goals, registering a major with only 24.4 per cent of their forward 50m entries.

Reliable small defender Luke Brown has conceded an average of only 0.6 goals per game to his direct opponent. First-year backman Jake Kelly has also conceded less than a goal a game (0.9).

Kelly, who made his debut in Round Three, is one of two AFL debutants at Adelaide this year. Draftee Jake Lever played his first AFL game against Gold Coast in Round Six, while former Melbourne and Hawthorn defender Kyle Cheney made his Crows debut in Round One.

The Crows are ranked sixth in tackles, averaging 67.4 per game.

Eddie Betts is second in the Coleman Medal race with 32 goals. Taylor Walker is seventh (26). Josh Jenkins (16), Tom Lynch (15) and Dangerfield (12) have all reached double figures in goals.

The Crows are ranked fourth for goals, averaging 13.7 per match.

Tom Lynch is second in the AFL for scoring assists (21) two behind Hawthorn star Cyril Rioli. Betts is third (20), level with another Hawk, Jack Gunston. Betts is equal-fourth in forward 50m tackles (18).

Captain Taylor Walker is second in the League for marks (79), marks inside 50m (36) and uncontested marks (70). He’s the best lead-up player in the game, ranked No.1 for marks on the lead. Lynch is 17th for marks with 66.

Walker has been the target of 104 inside 50m entries – ranked third in the competition behind Sydney Swans superstar Lance Franklin and Coleman Medal leader Josh Kennedy.

Rory Laird leads the Crows in uncontested possessions (141) and also handball receives (90). Laird is second in the League for ground-ball gets in defensive 50m (27) and also tops Adelaide in rebound 50ms (32) ahead of David Mackay on 29. Laird has won more intercept possessions (55) than any other Crow.

Sam Jacobs is fifth in the AFL for hit-outs (339) and fourth in hit-outs to advantage (108). He’s ranked second for disposals by a ruckman (163) after 10 rounds.

Ricky Henderson has averaged more metres gained (467.4) than any other Crow this season.

Adelaide is ranked No.1 in scores from centre bounces.

The Crows have the highest kick-to-handball ratio of any team (1.55). They are No.2 in the AFL for short kicks, averaging 88 per game and second in total kicks with an average of 221.7. However, Adelaide has the second lowest disposal efficiency (69.8 per cent).
