Rory Sloane announced his return to Fantasy form with his first ton in five games on Thursday night at Adelaide Oval.

After notching huge totals in his opening three games, Sloane has endured a lean run by his lofty Fantasy standards in recent times. He averaged just 70 points between Rounds Four to 10, including two matches wearing the dreaded red vest.

Injury has played a part in Sloane’s reduced output. A fractured cheekbone sidelined the midfield star for three weeks after a collision against Gold Coast in Round Six.

But the 2013 Club Champion was back to his prolific best on Thursday night, collecting 29 possessions for a team-high 109 Fantasy points.

Having shed over $100k since the start of the season, now is the perfect time to pounce on Sloane before his price rebounds back beyond the half-million dollar mark.

Four other Crows also notched centuries against the Hawks, with ruckman Sam Jacobs Adelaide’s next-best performer on 107 points.

Jacobs has now scored five Fantasy tons from his last six games and is closing in on Brisbane’s Stefan Martin and North Melbourne’s Todd Goldstein to be this year’s highest-scoring ruckman.

‘Sauce’ remains a reliable ‘set and forget’ option to carry your ruck division.

It was another week, and another big total from midfielder Patrick Dangerfield, who is now the sixth-most expensive player in the game at an even $600,000.

Dangerfield’s 105 was his fifth consecutive triple-figure score and his eighth Fantasy century from 11 starts. He’s become one of the must-have players in the game and was unlucky not to receive dual-position status in the latest Fantasy update. Consider him to carry the captaincy this weekend in Adelaide’s trip to the Gabba.

Tom Lynch and Rory Laird continue to prove the doubters wrong, with both men once again delivering the goods on the Fantasy front.

Lynch has now swelled by $128k since the start of the season following his 101 against the Hawks – his second-best score of the year.

The recently re-signed Laird produced the fourth-best score of all pure defenders last round, notching 100 points for his third Fantasy ton on the trot. He’s grown by over $110k and still had more money to make in the second half of the season.

Both men remain severely underrated in the AFL Fantasy universe with the duo’s ownership figures below three per cent.

Another Crow worth considering is Matthew Wright, who posted a handy 85 points from 17 possessions and seven marks.

Wright, a dual-position MID/FWD, epitomises Phil Walsh’s team-first culture, but his selfless on-field acts can hurt his scoring capacity. He’s averaged just 54 Fantasy points this year and is yet to hit the 100-point milestone.

Nevertheless, the former rookie is too good to ignore at his current price of $319,000. Wright has a break even of just 36 points and could be a solid downgrade option for coaches looking for a quick cash injection.
